Primary school curriculum

More attention to every child

At The St Brendans National School Bantry, we offer our pupils a broad curriculum that provides stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life. Whether it is our textbooks or hands-on lessons, we make sure each pupil gets personal attention to flourish in every subject.

Ireland’s primary schools curriculum is determined by the Minister for Education who is advised by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA). There are 6 curriculum areas that are further divided into 11 subjects.
