The Children at St. Brendan’s are now settled back at school. We are delighted to welcome our new students to the school and we will miss our sixth class from last year who have moved on to Secondary school.
The children are enjoying playing on the new All Weather Pitch at school each day. It is great that the children can still play on this surface even if it has been raining earlier on in the day. Break time is now more enjoyable. We would like to thank all the people who helped make this project a reality
at St. Brendan’s N.S.
This year in school the children will be focusing on the core subjects such as Maths and Language but we will also be putting a focus on Music and the Arts. We look forward to welcoming in outside teachers during the school year to help with the teaching of music and the arts in school.
The children have started their trips to Bantry Library in recent weeks. Thanks to all at Bantry Library for welcoming the children in and supporting them with their reading by fostering a love for books.
Everyone is looking forward to a productive year at school full of learning and new experiences.
